Hi faithful readers! I feel kind of bad, like I'm a guest on my own blog. As most of you know, I have stage 4 endometrial cancer that has spread to my liver. My doctor says I'm no longer a candidate for aggressive treatment, and he's even going too see if my primary care doctor will take over my medication management. My mom is my primary caregiver.
I was on hospice for 6 months to give her an opportunity to have back surgery and heal. It was great until they discharged me with no notice. I couldn't get in until December (it was July) to see my primary care September for Psychiatry and Oncology, and October for a new therapist that practices EMDR. Psychiatry took me off almost all my psych meds, so I found a new one…who agreed with her, so I'm giving their way a chance. My previous psychiatrist thinks I have histrionic personality disorder, which means being hysterical is just my personality and there's no way to fix it. My oncologist agrees with her, and at first glance, so does the new psychiatrist. If they are right, there’s no fixing that, either. But….she might give me 1 sleepmed back because it’s not a narcotic! Yay!
Anyway, with Mom taking care of me, she lost an income….so in helping her open a shop, primarily for stationary and junk journal supplies, but also all kinds of digital planners and journals. I’m really excited to help her find a means of support and a creative outlet. I will start posting stationary packages and junk journal stuff as I have it ready. Thanks for stopping to look!📚📚📚
